 Addison's disease

Addison's disease, also called primary adrenal insufficiency, is a rare disorder where the adrenal glands fail to produce sufficient cortisol and aldosterone. Symptoms develop slowly, including fatigue, weight loss, abdominal pain, and skin darkening. An adrenal crisis can occur, causing severe symptoms like low blood pressure and loss of consciousness, often triggered by stress. It is usually an autoimmune condition, and treatment involves lifelong hormone replacement with medications like hydrocortisone. With proper management, most patients can live normal lives, but without treatment, it can be life-threatening.More
